An attacking full back who can play in various positions including wing and fly. Mat qualified for both England and Wales at schoolboy level and decided to play for the country of his residence and school, England U18 and followed this up with England U20 appearances in the U20 6 Nations. In July 2020 Mat joined childhood club the Ospreys and quickly became a fans favourite with some exhilarating attacking play.
