DONE DEAL: Everton defender Niels Nkounkou joins Cardiff City on loan

ISC are delighted to have negotiated the season-long loan transfer of Everton left back Niels Nkounkou to Cardiff City in the English Championship.

Niels started his career with Olympique de Marseille in his native France, playing for their B team before joining the Toffees in July 2020.

Having previously made appearances for Everton in the League Cup, Nkounkou made his Premier League debut against Newcastle United on his 20th birthday in November 2020.

A French international at youth level, the defender spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Belgian First Division A club Standard Liège, where he made a total of 25 appearances across all competitions.
