DONE DEAL: Isaac Zuleta has signed with Miami FC
Colombian U20 national team striker Isaac Zuleta has completed his move to USL Championship side Miami for the 2024 season.
Zuleta is expected to be a key part of the rebuild of Miami FC, which is owned by Riccardo Silva and Italian legend Paolo Maldini. The club is looking to build a very competitive squad of highly motived younger players capable of competing for silverware this year before making a move to Europe's biggest clubs.
Isaac was born and raised in Medellin before moving to Spain and joining Getafe, where he played for their youth and B side. Isaac has 9 caps for Colombia U20 and has scored 1 goal, appearing in the South American Championships in 2023. He had a brief spell at New Mexico United before completing the move to Miami.
The clinical, collective striker links the play well, is good in the air, finds space in the box and finishes with composure. This season will be key in Isaac realising his significant potential and establishing himself as an important first team goal scorer.
