ISC completed the deadline day transfer of France youth international Anthony Gomez Mancini to Premier league side, Burnley F.C.

The central midfielder moves to Turf Moor from French top-flight club Angers on loan, with the potential to make the move permanent.

19-year-old Gomez Mancini has featured for the senior Angers squad in pre-season games and has been capped at Under-19 level by France, playing for his country in the 2019 version of the prestigious Toulon Tournament.

“I have progressed at Angers on a lot of levels, technically, physically and mentally, and it’s been a good experience. This is a good opportunity for me now at Burnley and I will be doing my best here for me and for the club. It’s very important for me.”

“It’s a good challenge for me. My objective will be to play for the first team and I will do my best to gain a (permanent) contract. I have been keeping an eye on Burnley’s results.

“I’m happy to be here and excited to get to know my team-mates and start training with them.” said Gomez Mancini, who started his career at Lyon before joining Angers two years ago, initially in the Under-19s before graduating to the full squad.
