Elliott Stooke extends contract with Bath rugby

Elliott Stooke has put pen to paper on new deal with Bath rugby, extending his two-year stay at Bath by another year up to 2019.The impressive second row is closing in on 50 appearances in the Blue, Black and White in under two seasons with the Club. His prowess at the set piece and dynamism around the field have made him a key member of Todd Blackadder’s squad, and, at just 24, the best years for the England Saxons lock are all ahead of him.

I’m still relatively young, and definitely have more to give, and I’m in the right place to make sure that I can do that.”

Speaking about the news that the young Bath trio of Stooke, Tom Elliss and Simon Bayliss have extended their contracts, Director of Rugby Blackadder, commented: “We’re obviously delighted that Josh, Tom and Elliott have agreed to stay at the Club.
