“Elliott is a powerful athlete and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development with us here at Bath. He has a great skillset for a young player, along with a great attitude, and I have no doubt he’ll fit into the Club really well.”

Mike Ford, Bath Rugby head coach

Speaking of the move, Stooke commented: “It’s been a hard decision to make, but I’m really excited about the move to Bath. They’re an ambitious club, and the coaches work incredibly hard to help develop each individual player at the same time as making sure the team is growing. It’s a hugely talented squad to join up with, and it is a great environment for a young player like myself to be part of.“I’d like to thank everyone associated with Gloucester for the support they have given me over the years, and I’ll be making sure I do all I can to play my part to make the rest of this season successful before I leave.”
